Zip Drive

In my opinion this is the next great successor to the humble floppy drive, capable of storing just under 100MB per disk.  The Iomega Zip Zoom SCSI card I bought with this has never worked so I have the Zip on my main SCSI adapter.   Although it is not as fast as many hard disks, it does provide a useful alternative to the dying 3.5" floppy, with all its bad sector ideosyncracies.

The Zip drive is almost a halfway-house to the Jaz drive which is capable of hard disk performance and 1GB of storage per disk.  My main reason for not going for the Jaz is the smaller population of users.
